progesterone for short LP

Hello Ladies! I met with my doctor this week and he is concerned with my short luteal phase. He wants me to come in and have a progesterone test after I ovulate ( 1week after) to test my levels. If it's under 10 he plans to prescribe progesterone of some form, suppositories or a pill. If it's not low he discussed Clomid to move my ovulation forward, since it's late for a 28/29 day cycle. Any of you ladies had success doing this? My hubby had a SPERM ANALYSIS yesterday and we got the results today and they were wonderful. Completely healthy sperm! So happy. Anyways.... any feedback would be great. Side effects? Results?
