period problems...?

When on your period, does anyone else feel like puking so much that they kinda can't sleep? Or their cramps are horribly bad one month and no cramps the next? I know this last question relates to the switching of ovaries and shit... but honestly just wondering who else has this and what they do to ease the pain??
