Excited visitors

I'm a first time mom and my baby was initially born with a high toxin level as she struggled with jaundice and now she has a sinus cold. So I have told family and friends they need not visit until after these issues subside until she goes back to doc for her monthly follow up but was thinking to wait until her first immunization at 2 months. Some family say I'm taking unnecessary precautions. What do you ladies suggest? I'm also assisting to wear a mask and wash hands to only grandparents that are visiting from out of state to assist me as I recover from surgery.
