How painful is labor and delivery ?

How bad is labor and delivering ? I'm due in August (2017) and I'm scared about how painful delivering will be.. (If I deliver naturally, my mom had 4 c-sections. Thanks!

Your mother delivering via c section does not mean you'll have to. If it hurt to much to deliver babies women wouldn't have them anymore😉
I've had five unmedicated vaginally and am having my 6th in early July.
I suggest taking a natural childbirth class to learn about your body and the process. I recommend the Bradley method.

Only thing that was painful to me was contractions I threw up every time I had one .

Not sure I could describe the pain. It's kind of just something you have to experience, unfortunately. And it's absolutely different for everyone. For me the contractions were definitely a 10 or above on the pain scale. But I have friends who describe labor differently!

Contractions were absolutely the worst for me. they were so painful & it was difficult trying to get comfortable in between them

For me, the contractions hurt the worst! And since I had a little tear I needed stitches and getting those were a little uncomfortable too! Oh and the first pee they make you do. Sorry not trying to scare you lol just telling you my experience!
