If they were friends before your relationship, then yes. As long as they aren't an ex and respect boundaries. But there's no reason for your man to have new female friends once he has you, acquaintances are different if they work together or whatever, but definitely not a close female friend.

I don't think it's right for a man or a woman to keep their SO from having friends of the opposite sex! Trust is a big part of a relationship, without trust ,you have nothing.

It's ridiculous to tell a man he can't have female friends. One of my best friends is a man. My boyfriend and I trust each other. He doesn't have many close female friends, but I wouldn't be concerned if he did because I trust him.

You shouldn't stop your spouse from having friends I'm sure you have had make friends without having sex with then before and your spouse can do the same with his friends. Not to allow them to have friends is controlling and border line abusive

Not with my husband it isn't. If he can't share something with me and needs to share it or talk about it with another woman there's a problem. That's how my husband and I are. People can be different. My husband is the only friend I need (male anyway).

I have many girlfriends that I met through my husband. And my husband has become a wonderful friend to some of my girlfriends. I did not however feel that way in previous relationships where there were underlying insecurities. If the relationship makes you uncomfortable there may be something underlying there, whether it's insecurities from your past or if he's being sneaky or not letting you get to know the girls...

Absolutely. If no one on the relationship is allowed to have friends of the opposite sex then there's some obvious trust issues. No one tells me who i can and can't be friends with unless it's an ex or someone who I know is interested in me.
