Is it bad.

So I have been with my boyfriend for over a year and we have a almost 3month old daughter. I want to get married, but everytime I bring it up he seems to get upset and change the subject or just ignore me. I told him that even of it was an engagement I would be happy. I just want it to be known and official that he is mine and I am his. Plus my adoptive family is all upset with the fact that I had a baby out of marriage. They keep asking when we are going to get married. I am 22. For those who wondered. One am I pushing to hard? Second is it normal for a guy to act this way. I couldn't imagine my life without him or love someone so much. What should I do. Should I let it go and just deal with all the family judgment. I really do want to spend the rest of my life with this guy. Am I in the wrong. I guess why I'm so upset is that he won't give me a reason why he wants to wait or whatever he has in mind. I just feel like I'm just here for a short time because we never talk future and when I try he gets all flustered.
