Induction date set

My due date is Sunday the 29th. I had a doctors appointment today. As my doctor said, "fruit is no where near ripe yet." Baby is still super high, I am maybe 1cm dilated but my cervix is still very thick. My doctor set my induction date for March 29. I am a FTM, any advice on being induced? I hope he decides to come on his own. I have been walking, bouncing on my exercise ball, ate a big thing of pineapples and sex. Nothing is working! I have been having some mild cramping but that's about it. I just want our rainbow baby here!!
