So is anyone else's spouse hating that your into other girls. I'm 18 I've been into girls since I was 11. At first I thought it was a phase until I hit high school. My fiancé hates it. He won't even let me hang with my friends without him being there. Even though I won't do anything with them considering I'm engaged. Is anyone else's spouse like this? I need advice if I should leave him or not. It's kinda pushing me away with the controlling part of him.

A huge misconception about people who like the same sex is that somehow they like everyone of the same sex . Being attracted to women is a lot different then the feeling you have about your friendships. I imagine youre not attracted to every woman who walks by. He needs to be taught this lesson first.  I have dated both males and females before my husband and he has no issue with me around other woman.  Granted we are much older then you,  he never had an issue with it.  Either your partner trusts your or he doesn't.  Of he doesn't then the relationship is doomed to fail.  You have to have other outlets besides him. It isn't healthy,  especially at 18, to not be able to have friends to chat with,  send time with and vent to.  You must make it known to him , beat it into him  (j/k) that you're commited to one person . That person is him.  If you're like me I consider cheating cheating.  Whether it's with a man or a woman.  He sounds really insecure , immature and controlling.  All qualities that tend to get worse with time.  If he doesn't loosen the reins and put some trust into you eventually you'll go nuts and leave! His insecurities shouldn't mean you have to live in a box . I'd listen and respect his words and feelings , but trapping you so you have no one else is considered one huge red flag ! Good luck hun.  Take some time and reevaluate if he's the man for you . Getting married to him will make these issues worse.  He may be your perfect soul mate, idk, but no one can live the way he wants you to. It depends, I think. Are you currently into girls? Are you in a more open/polyamorous relationship? Or is it strictly monogamous?

I'd feel uncomfortable if my husband was into ANYONE besides me. I'm only "into" him. He's the one I want and need.

I understand with my ex girlfriend where so is also my best friend and my only friend but I need friends to vent to. He also won't let me see my own sister. When I make plans to see her he ends up saying well we are going to my mothers so I cancel my plans all the time to go see HIS mother. I love him but I'm not in love with him. He also goes into my work all day and makes sure I'm there but also distracts me while at work.

That doesn't sound healthy at all. My boyfriend is still friends with his ex (they knew each other from childhood and have always been close). I currently study with either my friends or I study with the guy that has asked me out and would like to go out with me (he's backed off since my boyfriend and I got back together though and we're just friends). My boyfriend and I are also LDR. But we trust each other. He knows I'd never cheat on him and he knows I love him. It's the same with me for him.

It doesn't sound like your fiancé trusts you. And that's just not a stable ground for a marriage in my opinion. You need friends that you can talk to and go or with. You shouldn't need to be escorted around by your SO. He should trust you. I wouldn't be able to put up with that kind of controlling behaviour. I would talk to him and see if maybe things can change but if he can't trust you then I'd personally leave. You need trust in a relationship.
