Is it okay for me to be upset

I got had a miscarriage a few weeks ago, I didn't want the baby because I am not ready mentally or financially to support a child properly. But after I had the miscarriage I didn't feel happy or any type of relief, I feel sad like some part of me is missing. Is it okay for me to be upset since I didn't want the baby to begin? I feel like it's my fault because I thought so negatively about it before. It's been months now and I still feel really upset, is there anything to make me feel better?

It is 100000% okay for you to feel upset. No matter how unprepared you were, it's still a lost life and you still need time to grieve. I'm very sorry for your loss, and I hope you find some peace.

It's okay to be sad. You just went through something that changes your hormone balance in a dramatic way, so it is natural for you to feel somewhat "off". What you shouldn't feel, though, is guilt. This happens all the time; many women experience this and simply prefer to keep quiet about it. If you need to reach out and get help, do so. Do whatever it takes to feel at peace with yourself again.
