Chiropractor while pregnant?

This is my first pregnancy but I am having the worst back and hip pains already. I cannot seem to get comfortable to sleep, which could be why I'm having such issues but has anyone gone to the chiropractor while pregnant? And what was your experience?

You will not regret it chiropractics are amazing I have gone to mine for 16 years and have gone threw all my pregnancys this being #4 my labors are easy and fast as well as little to no pregnancys pains! All 3 of my kids go monthly and have gone seance birth they are the healthiest kiddos around

My chiropractor is great. He's a dad of 3 and adjusted his wife throughout her pregnancies. I 100% trust him with my adjustments. I just started back up with my massage therapist again too (2nd trimester). Pregnancy massage is different, but I can't imagine going 9 months without massage.

I go to a chiro once a month and I'm totally comfortable going and getting my adjustments! I don't think my hips stayed in place this time because they have been killing me! But I totally recommend a chiropractor while preggo or not! 😁

Yes!!! I love my chiropractor and she has been a game changer with the back pain. I have been going every 1-2 weeks and I don't know how anyone (with the back pain I've had) could not go! Just make sure whoever you go to has worked with pregnancy. They do have to do things a little different and start working around your belly as you grow ;)

I'm not in Southern CA. But I have found a few things to avoid: chains that have you sign up for a package. You pay up front, then you're stuck for 12-16 weeks. My chiro is also a functional medicine practitioner, so focused on a whole system approach, and not invasive with x-rays, etc.

I was just told no cervical adjustments until I was at least 18 weeks
