Late!

I just got married back in October and am on the pill. I have always had incredibly regular periods (never late) even before I was on the pill. I've taken it every day at same time of day for the past 7-8months and have never been late... Until this month, I am now 3 days late. Has this ever happened to anyone? Thinking of testing soon but wanted to see what other people's experience has been.
