Nipple piercings?

Question

I have a lot of ear/cartilage piercings and I'm really thinking about getting a nipple done but I've heard it can get infected and it's not good when your breast feeding etc! I'm 17 but I'm thinking down the track. Also sometimes my nips are soft but sometimes hard. Will that effect the piercing!? Cause when it's soft idk how it's going to look. Any tips or pics of what I should be expecting or how it went for you guys? Thanks babes 💕

All piercings can get infected and everyone's nipples get soft & hard lol. I had mine for 2 years, I loved them. Just know that they can take up to a year to fully heal, and they're a lot of work during that time. They won't affect breastfeeding, but if you still have the piercings during that time you would need to take them out every time you breastfed (Which would be very irritating to the nipple, nipple piercings do not like being changed often/messed with) Actually getting them done is quick and simple, it hurts obviously, but it doesn't take long lol.

Nipples will get soft and hard while you have the piercings. For me, getting them the first time was extremely painful and I have a high pain tolerance. My left nipple was hot to the touch for about a week or so and it burned. It was Pierced too close to the surface of my skin. That being said the piercings themselves snag onto everything. I got it caught to the shower door and it ripped right through my nipple. I had to wait 6 months for it to heal before repiercing. They're a piercing that can close up very easily if the ball falls off and you don notice. They also randomly flare up or bleed sometimes. Honestly they've become a pain in my ass more than beauty, I'm about to take them out. Two years has been long enough

I got mine and it was painless. The next couple days they hurt more than the actual piercing but they were so tolerable. I love them, mine has not gotten infected. I use H2Ocean spray multiple times a day. Breastfeeding should not be a problem in the future. They are 100% worth it in my mind. They've made me much more confident!

I've had mines for 3 years no issues. Mines are sensitive and they go soft and then get hard. No infections thankfully. Just be careful. And down the line you can breastfeed with piercings as long as you have had them for a while

Any piercing can get infected. Body piercing in general have a higher risk than ear piercing, but as long as you take care of them properly its fine. You can totally breastfeeding if you have had your nipples pierced. I took mine out darning pregnancy because the swelling in my boobs made it uncomfortable somehow but I still breastfed just fine. Your breasts have many multiple ducts through which milk flows, piecing doesn't affect them all. Not even most, just some.
