My daughter made an older man cry

The other day my little family went to wegmans for lunch and shopping, as we were taking care of our trash and recycling an older man came up next to us to take care of his. My 18 month old daughter looked at him and hugged him, he hugged her back and "said i love children" he then began to cry and said "thank you" she looked so happy and pleased. As always it made me nervous but it seemed like he needed that little hug. She generally doesnt do that, she will say hi and bye and blow kisses but hugs are reserved. ❤
