What paint did you use?

I have yet to set up the nursery because of moving and I really want to start painting as soon as I can. I know that not all paints are safe so for those of you who've painted the rooms, what kind of paint did you use?

You want 0 VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint. I waited till sherwin Williams had a 40 or 30% off sale and printed a coupon online before I bought the paint. It is top of the line and looks gorgeous!

Benjamin Moore has a VOC free paint called natura I think there was barely a smell to it at all. Highly recommend!

We used Dunn Edwards no voc paint. Looks beautiful and most importantly no toxic fumes

Most paints these days (at least in Australia) are generally low odor and don't contain nearly as many chemicals etc as they used to. They've made them pretty well safe these days. Most should be safe for you and baby. But I'd definitely check it out and/or wear a mask and keep doors and widows open anyways :-)
