Clomid opposite effects.

So I was just wondering if any of you ladies had a similar experience. I consider myself to be fairly regular with a 30-32 day cycle and ovulation around day 17-19. I had a miscarriage in October 2016 in a month we really weren't trying. I decided to get on Clomid to try to help me have a better ovulation and hopefully speed things along. Well the clomid seemed to have a reverse effect and first month didn't ovulate and second month had a super late ovulation. My doctor wants me to have a natural ovulation with IUI being that the Clomid didn't really help. Anyone have that  happen?
