when to take a test

So I'm due for AF in 6 days, my SO and I have been tracking my ovulation and doing everything that they say we should.... do you guys think it's too early to take a test?

Test day of missed af. Know it's hard to wait but do it so you get the best results and/or don't get as disappointed if you test now and end up getting af.
