N/T scan, they will tell you if something is wrong...right?!?!

Went in for my NT scan this am and the tech didn't talk much. Fiance and I are both sick with bad colds and coughs so we were not really asking a lot of questions, just trying to make it through the appt quite honestly...anyhow she did her measuring and said baby measured 2 days behind and heartrate was 150 and that things looked normal. Does that mean that there was nothing noticeably wrong? I want to kick myself for not asking! Normal is good. Right?

I had my NT scan last week and immediately following the scan, the Doc came in the room briefly to tell us that everything looked good with no increased risk.  This week, we received the results of the bloodwork, which decreased our risk even more to 1 in 10,000.

What she told you sounds fine. Did they tell you what the neck was measuring at? If it's under 3mm it's considered low risk. They also should have offered the hormonal blood test. All insurance companies cover it but it HAS to be done before 13w 6d (same as the scan). Together these tests are considered the "first trimester screening." Definitely call and ask what he results were for the scan...they should have had a 5 min consultation with you afterward to let you know the risk level and potential next steps. (I just had all this done last Friday so it's all fresh in my mind 🙂)

I went for mines today too. My baby measured two days ahead and HB was 150, they definitely would of told you if something was wrong. Did you have a blood test with yours?
