Does anyone not like added "y's"

Someone I know was going to name their baby 'Piper' (cute!), but she just changed it to 'Pyper', and i hate how it looks.  I won't tell her that, but I hate when people exchange the normal vowels for 'y's'..

i.e. - daryn, lyam, landyn, karyn, kynzlie, Aydyn, rayven, Ashtyn.

It ruins names.

My daughter's name is Ariana. I argued with my mother & sister the entire time I was pregnant because they wanted me to go with a 'cuter' spelling of the name. They thought it would be better to throw a 'y' and double 'n.' It seemed so damn unnecessary. I stuck to my guns, and Ariana was able to write her name at around age 2 with no difficulties, and no extra letters. Lol

Alright, honest opinions, I won't be offended, I just want to hear what others think. My husband and I are working on baby #2. My husband's name is Dustin, and if we have a girl, as he's hoping, he'd like to name her Dustyn. I think it's cute. Thoughts?

My name is Kristen. And I get so frustrated when people spell it wrong. It's not Kristin or Kristyn or even krystyn! Unnecessary.

Its good and fine if you have one kid with a Y. But I know 1 family with 5 kids. Only 1 has 1 y in it instead of I. The rest have 2-3 y's in their names. It looks really weird if you write their names on an invitation.

I honestly love them. Except the examples you used. My sisters name is syleena and mine is kamryn so I guess y's run in my family. If I have a daughter I want to name her heyleigh
