Have you had protected sex with a non HSV person?

How did it turn out?? Was he/she still virus free(let me know in the comments)?

I have had both protected and unprotected sex with people who don't have it and they still don't  (to my knowledge). One was just a guy I was dating for a short period of time and the other was my long term ex boyfriend who was totally comfortable with not using condoms.
On a side note I do take a daily suppressant so I never have outbreaks unless I miss my pills. I know the suppressant reduces the risk of shedding!

Oh, as far as I know, he's still clean. I try to make sure I'm good all the way around. I know my triggers and my symptoms of viral shedding which is great for us. I will be taking the suppressant medication as soon as my insurance kicks in. He wants to have children :)

Recently had protected sex with my boyfriend, and I totally overthought it and bombed it. First time having sex since the diagnosis; so I was a lot nervous. Constantly thinking about everything I could do to keep him from contracting the virus as far as him touching me and everything. Took him and me out of the mood, unfortunately. He was very reassuring, though. He knew how I was feeling and calmed me down. When I cowarded out, he held me until I fell asleep. It's been a journey to say the least, but we've had several talks since then about our sex life together. Lol, I hope we have sex again.
