new boyfriend

In my past relationship I used to cheat because I was cheated on and the trust and love just wasn't there anymore eventually I left and I found this new boy used to my old ways I cheated ( kind of ) ( I was just flirting with some boy ) but I really like him and we fell off and I really wanted him back because he didn't deserve it but now he finds it hard to trust me which I don't blame him at all for. What should I do ? Although I have a cheating past I don't want to continue just because it was done to me in the past
