My girl kitty, Xena, hasn't been speaking to me since I went away to the hospital a couple months ago. I think she was upset cause she thought I abandoned her or something. Anyway, tonight she comes in purring and wanting love, and while laying on my lap this sequence of events happens.

Goes to lay her head on my tummy

Stops

Sniffs tummy

Looks up at me with wide eyes

Sniffs again

Gives me the same wide eyed look

Sniffs again

Apparently decides it's acceptable and lays her head down.
