Thyroid levels a bit high, anyone else?

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and had an ultrasound and saw perfect baby with heartbeat 2 days ago. My doc knows I've had issues in the past so did some blood work on me to make sure everything was good. They checked my thyroid and it came back as 4.40 and normal is closer to 2.0 they put me on meds to keep it normal. I'm a little freaked out and want to go back to doc next week to make sure baby is ok. Anyone else have or had this?
