Do you douche? (Vaginal Washing)

Out of sheer curiosity, I looked up exactly what douching is, and according to WebMD it is not something I'd ever partake in.

I used to douche once a week because I thought that's the most higienic. But it turns out that your vagina doesn't require a shower inside. It has natural good bacteria that cleanses itself. If you have an infection then your doctor may tell you to douche once a week for 4 weeks but otherwise there is no need. In some cultures and countries they believe in a douche every week. Your doctor will tell you that if you're healthy it's better not to douche.

It is absolutely disgusting not to wash down there. We have sprayers that are used every time we finish using the toilet. Hence no smell down there

Douching can cause infection.
Best thing to do is use plain dove soap (or any unscented soap) warm water and a rag.
Best u can do. Nothing scented to make it smell nice. Can cause infections too.
Plus, biologically, mean are attracted to your natural smell.

My doctor told me years ago not to soap up anything interior, just the exterior. That's all you need as long as long as you bathe regularly and don't have an infection.
