Induced?

So I'm being induced on Monday evening and my mom is coming into town to be there when baby is born, how long does being indices usually take? From start to finish? I know everyone's different but just looking for some ideas to let my mom know. TIA♡

I was already at a 3 when I was induced. I started pitocin at 4pm and had him at 12:48am. Good luck!!

I was induced (unplanned) at 7am and baby wasn't born until 1am and it was my second pregnancy and I was not dilated or effaced

I was induced at 1cm with Cervadil at 4pm on a Monday. Labour started 11 hours later at 3am on Tuesday and my baby was born 6am on Wednesday.

So she was born after 27 hours of labour, 38 hours after I was induced.

Thanks girls, I'm only 1cm dilated and hoping it won't take more than 32 hours to have her but I know it could take longer since I'm not dilated that much yet! Been trying sex, & yoga ball but other than that haven't done much to try and go into labor. Any tips?

I've been induced for both of my babies. My first I was induced around 5 am and he didn't come until 9:22 pm, with my second I was induced around 7 am and he came at 3:26 pm.

Well with my son I was taken in on 2nd Jan 2009 .. given 3 sweeps and nothing.. pins through the night but not much .. then I believe I was given tablets the next morning and I went to the labour ward at 1pm and had him at 5:52 that night.. so it depends really.. I would take some extra stuff incase your body doesn't respond as quickly as others.. as for my friend .. she was induced and had hers a few hours later .. good luck! I'm due 24th and hoping I don't get to that stage again.. stay strong and try and get that baba out yourself.. try not to tire yourself out like I did 😀 you got this! X
