Can I conceive naturally with hypothyroidism?

I haven't talked to my doctor yet. I saw the results online. All other fertility tests are normal. Semen analysis, HSG, ultrasound, progestrone, prolactin, FSH, estradiol. Many blood tests haha I'm assuming this is the sole reason we haven't conceived...does anyone have this and conceived right away after being put on meds?

I've been on thyroxine since I was 18. I'm now 32 and have 4 children. 3 were conceived within 3 months TTC, and the other in the first month TTC. So yes, if you are put on meds then there is no reason why you can't conceive naturally.

You might be able to conceive, but you'll be at an increased risk of miscarriage or birth defects unless you get your levels under control, so I personally would wait to TTC until your meds are sorted out.

I have a 20 month old and I have hashimotos and we are trying for baby #2.  As long as the dr has you on the right dose of meds and they control it when you do conceive there should be no worries! Good luck and baby dust!

I wasn't diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and the later Hashimotos until after our 2nd was born.
We were done having children, my husband got a vasectomy..... then when my youngest was 3 or 4 I decided I wanted another baby.... my husband did the unthinkable and got it reverseved. He was tested multiple times and the dr was surprised that we hadn't already conceived, so we figured it had to be me (however, since he was never tested before he was clipped we really don't know what his levels were- so we can't for certain say it's all me). 
During the last almost 5 years I worked on my diet, tried to keep my levels as stable as possible, tried to keep my weight steady and it took us about 4 years to conceive. I also only have 1 ovary, which might have played into this as well.
My best suggestion is to find which meds help to keep your levels stable, and don't stress too much about it- I know plenty of people who had a much easier time conceiving than me.
