2 days late

Hello ladies! So I have been trying to concieve for about a year and a half. I noticed my af is two days late and also I see white creamy stuff on my underwear (tmi) I took an ovulation test and it says I'm ovulating.. I'm confused because my period was suppose to come two days ago. Should I go ahead and take a pregnancy test.. or is my period coming late?? THIS IS AN ovulation test BTW??
