okay so me and and my boyfriend are constantly arguing over this, he feels it's okay and i agree on certain terms as in if the woman was raped or the child has no chance of survival or vis vera so i just want to no your opinions i won't get offended i just want to know what you girls think...

I'm not "for" abortions like going out and telling every pregnant woman I see to get an abortion. I believe in a woman's right to choose because I'm pro-choice. I believe women should always have a choice no matter what, because it's their body and none of my business.

My sister in law changed my opinion on it. She brought up all the mothers she treats who are so messed up on drugs like heroin and meth, they aren't likely to stop during their pregnancies and they are harming their babies. Babies likely to be born with complications... to a mother that is going to care more about her addiction than the child. It's sad.

I support women being able to choose. People say it's okay if they were raped but think about it. The man would have to be proven guilty and trials like that take a long time. By the time they were proven guilty, the woman would be too far along to get an abortion. Not to mention, false rape accusations would go up. Saying you support it for only certain situations means you are letting rapists control their victims and put them through pain everyday. I care about women and I don't want to force them to give birth if that is not what they want. That can be psychologically damaging. The labor process can be traumatic for women who have wanted a child for years. It's painful, long, and scary for a lot of women. Imagine going through that when you have mixed feelings about it anyhow. Talk about traumatizing. I think you should also consider how an unwanted pregnancy affects the developing fetus. If the women carrying the baby is under immense stress, that can be very difficult for the fetus and even deadly. Not to mention, a stressed out or depressed person, regardless of being pregnant or not, is at an increased chance for abusing drugs and alcohol, and developing suicidal thoughts. All of these are certainly not good for a developing fetus. Though it's sad for some to know abortions happen, it's also sad to put a woman under stress like that. Especially when you can give power to a rapist in the process.

I don't agree at all, unless it's a situation like you said where someone was raped and physically can't carry a baby or if the baby isn't healthy enough to make it
