ovarian cyst damage??

Back in 2009, I had a cyst rupture on my left ovary. Recently for the past couple of months I was on fertility treatments. Every time I had a sono, they could never find my left ovary. I've had multiple Sono's with a different techs each time and they couldn't find it vaginally or over the belly. Could the cyst also ruptured my ovary? I know when the cyst ruptured I was taken to the ER cause of the excruciating pain. 
My OB has never mentioned to me after the multiple sonos as a reason why they couldn't find it. I never thought to ask, but I thought it wasnt big deal. 
Now I'm kinda worried as of why nobody can find my ovary since I had the cyst.

I suffer from PCOS and have had cysts rupture numerous time. They are no fun. I doubt your ovary itself ruptured. More than likely it is just hiding. You could request a HSG. It takes a much more detailed look inside of your uterus and tubes. They shoot a dye up there and it clears out any mucus in the tubes and gives then doctors a very clear look at your workings. My suggestion if you do do this... take an ibuprofen or two before hand and you can request an anxiety medicine. I had it done the month before i started my fertility medication.

Your ovary could just be pushed further into your pelvic bone. My right one is soooo hard to find when they look because it's further in my pelvic bone than my left one is. I've had two ovarian cysts burst on my left side and they were severe and my ovary is just fine.
