mucus plug or no?

Question

Today as I was using the bathroom I noticed a yellowish glob like an inch in length in the toilet. Is that part of my mucus plug or does the mucus plug come out all at once? 
Also another question I had was if the mucus plug does come out does that mean that I will go into labor soon? I am 34+4

Pregnant women lose parts of the plug and it's not uncommon around your gestation. If it came with cramping and bleeding though I'd go to the hospital because you're still not full term.

No and no. It can cone out a little at a time and it can cone back.  You may be close to labor but you can't tell just by losing mucus plug.
