Post your birth storys(+a pic of the cute little baby(s)) I'm 17, and I'm just about 25 weeks pregnant, I love reading birth storys, I like knowing what to expect☺️ I don't have a woman in my life to call a mam(she's not dead,she just left me and my brothers with my dad, I haven't seen since the age 10) and so there's no one here to tell me about labor,and everything else

It was Christmas Eve 2013 when I started getting very uncomfortable. My blood pressure was higher than usual and I was having terrible headaches. I called my doctor who told me to go get checked and make sure baby was okay. I went in and then was told to go back home after everything checked out alright. Long story short, I was going to be induced on the 26th and by that time I welcomed it. I was due on December 21st. Well I went in at 5:00 A.M. and was all checked in and hooked up within an hour. Scarlett was being very stubborn and I ended up having a C-section due to some minor complications. She was born at 1:45 Pm and everything went beautifully.

I went to the doctor at 37 weeks and had the babies movement monitored. The baby barely moved and had no more room. I was told I had to deliver. My mom took me to get Taco Bell and then to get registered.

I was given pitocine to start contractions and was induced by having rubber balls shoved into my cervix causing me to bleed. I did natural labor for 10 hours when I elevated for an epidural as my blood pressure was really high (I have epilepsy so stress isn't good). I felt nothing after this and for 6 more hours dialated. My son got into the very canal and very stubbornly moved😡 His blood pressure dropped and o had a c-section which was so easy in my opinion.

William Mitchell was 10 pounds, 7 ounces..3 weeks early 
My best advice is to know what tot want but be flexible😊

I don't have a birth story yet but I recommend getting a copy of Ina May Gaskin's guide to childbirth. The first probably 200 pages is birth stories and then she describes the process of labour and birth.

Thanks! Doctors told me full term would have been 13-14 pounds😁 He's 2 now and 43 pounds and 42 inches...scary tall

My water broke on my due date at 5:13am-- I called doc and he said to make my way into the hospital.  I was having very mild contractions and water kept coming but I decided to have a nice breakfast at home and a nice shower. Got to hospital around 8am and was admitted-- only 1cm dilated which I had been since 37w! Basically I was told to walk the halls and relax while I dilated. They checked me again around 5:30pm, after 13 hours of labor and mild contractions every 5-6 mins I was only 2cm. They started pitocin and then the contractions were immediately 1 minute sort and much, much stronger. Around 2am the pain had gotten unbearable so I got an epidural which brought instant relief. I slept for a few hours, woke up at 6am and was 9cm. By 7am I was at a 10 and pushed for an hour and there was my baby!  After 27 long hours of labor she finally arrived, on my wedding anniversary! :) honestly most of the labor was boring band not painful
U tol they started me on pitocin, who knows how long it would have take. Without it though! Overall it was a wonderful experience as. I am looking forward to
Doing it all again in three months!
