I had my son July 2016 so he His 8 months now and got on depo September 2016 but I never went to go get another shot because I was hearing bad things about it . Me and my So have been having sex .I've read it Takes at least 6 months after your last shot for the depo to leave your body but has anybody got pregnant soon after you stopped the shot ?

I got pregnant after skipping my next shot... and also got pregnant while on it... I would suggest you take a pregnancy test became by now your should've had a period or some spotting

My Aunt did, she missed a shot and got pregnant like instantly. But beings you only got the shot once, the lady I was getting my shots from said that it takes a while for the birth control to actually work
