Does anyone know the reason behind your vaginal area feeling like you just got hit by a truck there? I'm 37+4 and seriously can barely even walk because I'm so sore in that area, it isn't from sex, I just wake up like this.

I'm definitely noticing more of an ache down there at 39+2 and just figured that everything has more strain on it as baby descends. The cervix and vagina are both muscles and they're all that stands between the weight of everything in your uterus and the outside world. Must be a tough job near the end!
