Openly racist people?

Do you call out or correct people who are openly racist (family/friends). Or do you just ignore it (fb, speaking,exc)

I find myself in a teeny tiny little hole after repeatedly arguing and loosing friends for correcting people who seem to live life fighting against serian refugees and "border walkers" fleeing america. Im trying to do good and stand up for those who cant stand up for themselves and instead of being viewed as a good person i find myself in an empty hole. My husband who doesnt necessarily always agree with me has been the only person supporting me
