brownish red blood?

So, in march 3rd i started my period, i'm very irregular so i get my period every 2 months to say at least because i have PCOS. Two days ago i had sex but my bf didn't came (he's allergic to the latex of the condoms). Today while i was peeing, i saw a brownish red spot. I was researching and it said something like "occurs because a small amount of fluid is leaked form the follicles of the ovary sometime during the cycle." I REALLY HAVE NO CLUE!
