Too young to want marriage?

I'm 19 and I've been with my boyfriend for year, I absolutely love him to pieces and I honestly wanna marry him and I think he's gonna propose. Am I too young?

It's really up to you. But things I would consider first: do you really know this person through and through? Do you think you can withstand a whole life together, hard times and all? And also talk about life goals with him. Kids, jobs, etc.

The only thing I would worry about with your age is that people change a lot during those years. I just wouldn't want you to grow apart! Good luck :)

My husband and I got married when I was 19. Going on four years now, own a house, have a two year old son and pregnant with our second. Its ultimately your decision honey, if you think he's a good man and you can work through the challenges and obstacles in life then I'd say go for it!

I got engaged at 19, after a year of dating. We got married 8 months later, 3 months after I turned 20. May 24th, will be our 3 year weddings anniversary! When you know, you know! Best wishes! 💖

You could get engaged and more in together for a year or so before you get married, just to test how things will work out. But I definitely do not recommend getting married at 19.. I'm 19 myself and I was my last boyfriend for 3 years, we got engaged when I turned 18 and were about to move in together when he broke off the engagement and said he wasn't ready.. just a couple weeks after that he moved in with another girl & they're about to get married & have a baby on the way.. but if I were you I would definitely test the waters before diving in. As long as you are both 18+, the two of you are the only ones who can say that you are or aren't too young! Marriage is about you two as a couple. And a lot of it is all about maturity. Some of the happiest married couples I know are people who got married at 18, 19, 20 simply because they know how to work through things and come out on top as a team.
