cleaning inside vagina during pregnancy?

Ok I am about to ask a very stupid question but I need to know so I wouldn't make mistake.... how do you clean the inside of the vagina during pregnancy ? Usually I put one of my fingers inside my vagina and clean properly with warm water... but now that I am pregnant and in my first trimester... can I continue doing the same? I always felt it was important to clean the discharge inside off because it particularly does not smell like roses

Never clean your vagina. It literally does that all by itself. Leave it alone.

You don't need to clean the inside of your vagina... our bodies do that for us. But if you've been doing that, I don't see why you couldn't continue.

I don't clean inside my vagina. Just inside the lips and clit area.. and just at the opening of the vagina.. and yes your vagina DOES clean in self out that's what the discharge is. If it doesnt smell good you got some other thing going on. .

I don't stick anything in my vagina to clean it. Our bodies do that on our own . Showers clean it just fine with the water

U shouldn't clean the inside of it. There's no need to. U are just making yourself for at risk for bacterial infections and yeast infections .

I don't see why people say don't do it. I clean mine cause your body doesn't naturally clean all the stuff out from when you have sex. Some say it does but I personally don't think so. But if you want to clean it, you can do it the way your doing. Don't use douches as that you are not supposed to while pregnant. But with just some warm water will be fine.

"Vaginal discharge is perfectly healthy. As long as it isn't lumpy, itchy, green or particularly smelly it's fine. Discharge flows outwards to gently flush the vagina and lubricate the walls. So there’s usually no need to clean the inside. However, if you're just using your finger and a little water and you're not having any itching, pain or burning, then you're probably not doing yourself any harm. Disturbing the natural balance within the vagina can actually upset the balance of natural microbes and cause infections; vaginal douches are particularly good at doing that so I’m glad you're not using one."
