baby shower early or later?

I'm a high risk pregnancy and idk when my daughter will come! Praying for at least 35-36 weeks! I never got to experience a baby shower with my son because he was born at 24 weeks! He's doing good now he's about to be 5years old😊 anyway, I really want a baby shower and I was thinking is it bad or good idea to have a baby shower around 30-32 weeks?

I've had no issues and I had mine at 32 weeks. I feel like it was a good time. It motivated me to finish the nursery

Im having mine between 29 and 30 weeks. I'm due in July  and have zero interest in having a July baby shower. And with wedding season and graduations and communions we ended up having to do it in the middle of May. I wanted June but just won't work out that way. It's Mother's Day weekend so I feel like it's extra special. I'm hoping to be able to do something special for the mama's in attendance. A special little token or something just for them. If u want it earlier than later go for it
