Should i try a VBAC? Im scared but i want to have an vaginal birth! Your thoughts?

I had a no problem pregnancy throughout but needed an emergency c section when his heart rate dropped because he couldn't handle the contractions. I was so upset but thankful my baby is safe. He's only 7months old and I'm pregnant again and I REALLY want a VBAC but feel I got pregnant too soon so the odds are looking slim even though my dr said we can talk about it.

I had a VBAC and it was wonderful. I had to drive an 1hr 45 min to find an OB with excellent ratings willing to try (she is well-known in the area for being a VBAC proponent with a more holistic approach). I did have to agree to carefully watch my weight, exercise 3x a week, take a birthing class and avoid any interventions-- no inductions, no epidural, all natural or nothing at all. I had to acknowledge the risks a VBAC presented and sign a form. Do your research, understand the risks, and talk to your OB. I am currently 24 weeks with my third and am with a midwife at a birthing center this time. Good luck!!
