It’s a real condition that happens when he’s been turned on for too long and hasn’t taken care of it. The blood that causes his erection also makes his testicles swell. If left unattended for too long it can feel pretty painful.

That being said, his blue balls aren’t your responsibility. Never let a guy make you feel like you have to have sex because of it. It is something he can very easily handle all on his own!

Blue balls is a very rare condition so your husband most likely didn’t experience this. The real blue balls is rare. Women can have it too. It happens when you’re aroused for a long period of time. We’re talking hours or days, not an hour of having a boner. If the person doesn’t get any release the blood that was rushed there will cause the balls or the clit to get extra swollen and so very sensitive. It is painful. Masturbation isn’t always enough and what doctors tell you to do to help is to take a pain killer. 
For women the pain can feel like someone is stabbing you. 
Now having said that this should never be used to pressure someone into having sex. Whether you’re a man or a woman.

My husband says he has never experienced blue balls. And I know for fact that we was having sex and he was very close to orgasm but then he heard one of our teenagers come home through front door.
