LADY PARTS: What happens when you ovulate?
Ovulation sounds pretty mysterious, doesn't it?
It’s really not complicated though. When you ovulate, your ovaries release follicles that contain eggs. One egg is usually dominant and is released into your fallopian tubes where it waits for sperm. If the sperm is there, you have a chance of getting pregnant. If not, the egg dissolves into the lining of your uterus and your body knows to start menstruating.
Your body sure is amazing, lady!
