Swelling in feet, ankles and legs

Jude • Got my bfp 5/20/16. DD born 1/27/17 So head over heels in love with her!
So I just went to have my postnatal visit yesterday and I spoke to the Dr about some recurring swelling I'm having in my feet, ankles, and legs. He told me it may just be something benign like veinus insufficiency or that it could be something more sinister like congestive heart failure. I'm so scared. I felt like when I was pushing baby out that afterwards my heart hurt and they even hooked me up to an ekg because of it, then I developed a sudden dry hacking cough which I just attributed to being insanely fatigued and picking up something from the hospital. I had this cough for several weeks and it finally left shortly after I finished a course of antibiotics for a nasty case of mastitis I had 2 weeks after I had baby. So now I see that some of the symptoms I have had are symptoms of congestive heart failure. I admit I've been struggling with anxiety and I can have a tendency to be a hypochondriac but I have had heart issues in the past (I had a successful catheter ablation for SVT). I also have painful cramps in my forearms at times (before I had baby I would have it sometimes if I drank too much, but now since I don't drink I just get it intermittently). Thanks for reading this, I am going to see my GP for this so they can refer me to whomever I need to see or do whatever tests need to be done. Both times the swelling has been bad were after I ate pretty salty things so I just thought it was from what I ate even though I'd never swell up pre-pregnancy. Also, my postnatal swelling took about 3 weeks to dissipate. Does anyone have any kind of experience with what I'm talking about? I'm scared and I want to be around for my daughter for a long long time, but I also know health issues happen. Pic for cuteness of the love of my life.
