I went in to have a scheduled amniocentesis to check his lung maturity and started having contractions(thought they were Braxton Hicks). She tried to draw fluid with a few sticks and had no success because I went in to labor. We realize tge contractions were real and the nurses started prepping me for delivery. In the process my baby's heart rate dropped and I went into panic mode. I thank God for my Dr, team of nurses and the hospital staff there. My little guy was delivered safely and only stayed in the NICU for observation. Micah Immanuel is blessed to be alive.
