Period after IUD removal?

Question

I had my Skyla IUD taken out yesterday (early) because I'd been in so much pain from it. 
I think my period is starting??? I thought it takes a few months? And my period wasn't due for a week!

Anybody have this happen? I'm so confused. Is this bleeding from the removal or a period?

Same thing happened to me I had no cramps after the removal nothing then a day later I have period like bleeding with cramps and blood clots and everything so I don't even know if this is a period or what

That's pretty normal! It's probably not your period. Some women get bleeding, and some get cramping.
