Toddlers sharing a room with newborn?

Does anyone do this? Was you worried about your baby waking your toddler? My son sleeps with me but I really want him in his own room before baby comes. I really want the newborn in my room as well but between a king size bedroom suit there is no room for even a bassinet beside the bed! Idk what to do!! Please give me opinions on how to do this. Lol. I'm welcome to all suggestions.

Your toddler needs his sleep and newborns could possibly be waking up every hour. You should have baby in your room with you until baby can sleep through the night. It's not fair to a toddler to wake up to a potentially crying baby every night. There are also bassinet type products that go on your bed like the dockatok since you're worried about space.

Best thing you can do is move your toddler into his own room before the new baby is born. My daughter coslept with us for the longest time, when i got pregnant, i transitioned her into a crib in our room. A few weeks before my son was born, i moved her into her own room. The first few weeks after my son was born was rough because she did have major jealousy issues but i think that would have happened anyway even if i had left her in our room. You just have to give it time and let everyone adjust to eachother.

You said that theres no room in your bedroom for a bassinet, why no cosleep like you did with your first? It might seem a little weird but if your room is so cramped, why not move some furniture out to make room for your baby? Its recommended that your baby sleep in the same room for at least 6 months which really isnt a long time. Or you could also keep the baby with you until he or she is sleeping through the night and then move him or her into the other room and move your furniture back

Im dreading this lol my daughter has coslept with me since she was born ,she will be 21 months old when her brother is born idk how its going to go down when she only sleeps in my arm n im afraid the baby wilk b waking her up constantly .

I'm going to have to with my third. I think toddlers get used to it pretty quickly, you may have a small time frame where the baby wakes up your toddler but, it won't happen forever. 
Your choice for keeping baby in your room is to co-sleep, which many people do. But that's a super personal decision. Good luck!
