supervisor out of line?

Danielle
I am wanting opinions here. I am almost 12 weeks pregnant and working full time. Last week my upper supervisor visited me at work for a routine visit. During my lunch break she asked if she could join me, I agreed. As we were eating lunch she was asking me about my pregnancy and how I told my family I was pregnant. She then asked me if I was married. I am not married but I have been with my spouse for over 5 years. I told her that we had no plans to get married. She then spent the rest of my lunch period telling me why I should marry, for my child, to show a good example.. for tradition.. and then she asked if I loved my spouse I said "of corse I do" then she said is he good to you? Does he take care of you?! " I again said yes of corse" then she said the thing that hurt the most. She said that if I didn't marry him that he would leave me for someone who would marry him. And if I didn't marry and take his last name my child would not know a proper family structure. During this whole time I was very uncomfortable I was imbarrassed and I really wanted to tell her to "shut up, and keep her opinion to herself" and walk away but for fear of my job I didn't say anything. I just looked at her stunned. I'm just wondering do you think my supervisor crossed a line here? Is this something to take to HR? Or is this maybe pregnancy hormones... what do you think?
