miscarriage after abortion??

I just had my second miscarriage last week both happened about 5months apart and both were before 9 weeks. I few years ago I had a surgical abortion done at about 10weeks and now I'm thinking that my miscarriages are linked to that decision I made. Has anyone had this happen? Or have you had healthy pregnancies after a surgical abortion?

I had a surgical abortion nearly 2 years ago and now I'm 16 weeks pregnant. I was told when I had it done that it wouldn't cause any issues with future pregnancies. 
I imagine that you and I will get a lot of hate from some women on here, but no one knows how we came to that decision, just remember that. 
I'm sorry for your losses but if the procedure was done correctly then it shouldn't have caused you to miscarry.

I have three friends who have gone on to have multiple healthy pregnancies after abortions. They aren't linked. I'm sorry for your losses. I've lost two pregnancies as well, still trying for my first!

I've never had an abortion but I have had a d&c which is mostly the same procedure medically speaking. With the d&c, my Dr explained there is the possibility of infection and/or scar tissue developing  from the procedure causing infertility or inability to carry a pregnancy, however this is quite rare. So is it possible the 2 are related, yes,  but unless you had an issue with the abortion or a lot of scar tissue internally, it's most likely not related.

I know someone who had an abortion and developed Ashermans syndrome due to the procedure and couldn't have kids. That doesn't mean this is the case but it can happen

I had a surgical abortion done at 13 weeks and then a miscarriage a few months later when i got pregnant again. I have a history of miscarriages tho. But after that miscarriage in may or june i have a healthy pregnancy now at 32 weeks. I got pregnant in late august. Try 1 or 2 more times, if you have more miscarriages id see a doctor and find out whats going on.
