Would you ever say no to BC for your teen daughter?

A friend of mine told me that her 17 yo daughter asked for birth control because she wanted to be sexually active with her boyfriend. She said no & then her daughter went behind her back and got the pill anyway. I know I definitely would get my daughter on the pill if I knew she wanted to be sexually active. Especially knowing she could get it without my permission anyway. What would y'all do??
