Hmmm.....
Hey ladies my stepson was diagnosed with stereotypic movement disorder when he games he flaps his hands moves his fingers and touches the tips of his fingers togther and moves them back and fourth while making a noise.. recently i realized hes doing it a little more than normal and usual usually he will do it while he plays the game system ( hes 11) but hell do it now if hes really excited he asked me to tye something it took me a min to do and he did it ab 5 times in that time frame.. today i recorded him and he was doing the flapping the hands the finger thing making noises and realized after i watched the video that he is now biting his self and the flapping etc is becoming more strong.. he makes facial movements too.. i dont think its STMD. i think its something else and he was misdiagnosed. he got diagnosed about last summer he also has ADHD. my bf thinks the dr we saw was right but me and his mom dont think so.. we want a second opinion but he dont.. he says he asked why he has to go to a new dr but i never heard him say anything ab that and im with him all the time..
