induction with Cervidil?

Any ladies care to share their experience with this? I'm being induced Monday at 39 weeks but have to go in Sunday evening for the cervidil because I'm not dilated at all yet. Really hoping the cervidil helps so maybe labor won't be quite as bad!  😬

I just got my first dose of it an hour ago! Hoping it kick starts everything!! We start pitocin at 7am if this doesn't do anything (they said not to expect crazy results from it... just softening things up a bit but I know people who have had their labor kick started by just this!) 😁

In hospital induce since mid they 2 lots of gel, cervix still not open enough to break the waters😭painfull contractions since hour after first gel....... This is a really long process and painful too. Hope that it will be all better for you ladies .
