homebirth with midwife?

Anyone else out there chose a homebirth delivery with a midwife?

I have my first appointment next week but we will have a doppler until 11 weeks, I'd love to have an ultrasound just to see but we're going to wait until week 20 for that. I'm so anxious! I wish I could confirm I'm pregnant in another way, I don't know when to break the news to family or friends or how... ideas?

I'm doing a home birth ! Check to see if you have a place near you that does free ultrasounds ! I got one at a Christian place at 6.5 weeks! Or you could go to the ER and complain of pelvic pain .. they'll do one for sure ! Good luck :)

I did a birth center with a midwife with my first and absolutely loved it! Literally my birth center feels like home to me and I absolutely LOVE my midwife!! We're going back this time to the birth center just because I want to have this baby in the same tub as my son, but I think you will love the homebirth experience!! My midwife even let my husband deliver our son. It's truly a special memory for him and I am so glad he got to do it!
